We wouldn't normally plug My Family here at SFX. Partly because it's not SF, but mainly because it's about as funny as reading the assembly instructions on an Ikea bed (possibly less funny because the Ikea bed will have an amusing name). But on 7 May, John Barrowman will be guest starring in the show as "The Doctor" and the press release reveals he following:
"Meanwhile, Susan is stranded in an Albanian airport where a handsome stranger comes to her rescue when her bag is stolen. She is instantly smitten with The Doctor, a dashing American, who is heading off on an adventure around the world. The pair connect and he soon asks Susan to join him on his travels. But, could Susan really turn her back on Ben for a lifetime of romance, and could The Doctor really be all that he seems?"
We can't wait.
