Join OXM UKs loot hunt, get a TV and signed copy of Borderlands 2
Robots! Free stuff! Free awesome stuff!
Here's the ever-lovely Jon Hicks from our sister-magazine OXM, with a quick update on something exciting. It involves robots and cool free stuff:
The new issue of Official Xbox Magazine UK is running an exclusive vault hunt alongside its exclusive Borderlands 2 cover story. The new issue, on-sale Wednesday 8th August, has a choice of six cover designs - and if you find one of ten golden Claptrap covers then you win an HDTV and a copy of the game signed by Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford.
There are six foil-finished versions of the mag, each one showcasing a different character. Subscribers get a silver cover showing Pandora’s new overlord Handsome Jack, and if you buy it on the newsstand you’ll have either Salvador, Axton, Maya or assassin Zer0. There are also ten ultra-rare Claptrap covers, possession of which grants you a 40-inch Samsung HDTV and signed copy of the game.
The mag itself is “guest edited” by Claptrap himself, containing such insights as what he really thinks of GlaDOS and his preferred method of trolling, and the rest of Gearbox reveal new details on the characters and world of Borderlands 2. There’s also the first review of the actually-really-good Sleeping Dogs, the story of how Valve made Portal 2, and exclusive interviews with LucasArts and Industrial Light and Magic about how it's getting Star Wars right with E3 hit Star Wars 1313.
