Our hero Joss revealed on a fansite that he and movie company Warner had different visions for what Wonder Woman should be, and so have parted company. Bum.
"Let me stress first that everybody at the studio and Silver Pictures were cool and professional," he writes. "Everybody knows how long I was taking, what a struggle that script was, and though I felt good about what I was coming up with, it was never gonna be a simple slam-dunk."
Joss was associated with the project for two years, and we were really looking forward to it. According to the Hollywood Reporter, he was paid two to three million dollars to develop and write the adaptation (Joel Silver producing). When the news broke at the weekend, SFX readers began discussing it on our forum here (feel free to join them).
