Judi Lench enlisted for Clint Eastwoods J. Edgar
Charlize Theron could also join
Grand Dame Judi Dench has signed on to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Armie Hammer in Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar.
A biopic that revolves around the life of the first ever director of the FBI, the film – originally entitled Hoover – is set to shoot in February 2011.
Dench isn’t the only Oscar-winner also being linked to the project, though. Charlize Theron is also considering taking on a role in Eastwood’s next film.
The Playlist report that the Monster actress is “leaning toward” the project, having been offered the role of Helen Gandy, Hoover’s secretary.
Which seems to suggest that Theron is feeling more inclined to work with Clint than she is to take on Snow White And The Huntsman , which is also shooting in February.
Even without Theron – what a cast. Eastwood’s next looks set to be a stellar return to form after the director’s less-than-well-received Hereafter .
