Jurassic Park: The Game now coming to PS3 and 360, new console-ified trailer inside

Remember that sad news a couple days ago about Telltale’s downloadable Jurassic Park release being delayed? Now the adventure game dev has softened that blow by announcing that whenever the dinosauric title actually comes out, it won’t be PC-exclusive. Soon the game 65 million and 18 years in the making will be playable on PS3 and 360 as well.

Above: Does that right stick on the screen convince you it’s for 360?

Following yesterday’s announcement that the dev had made a deal to publish games on the 360 again, the first of those games will be Jurassic Park during its nebulous “fall 2011” release date. Also of note is that the 360 version will be sold as a retail disc containing all the episodes, instead of in small chunks on XBLA, which is slightly odd. Is Microsoft against episodic games on XBLA? Is that why Telltale has been mostly absent from the service? We’re guessing Jurassic Park will be an episodic downloadable on PS3, assuming PSN is back up six months from now (I kid, I kid).

Accompanying the announcement is some new gameplay footage of JP, with 360 button commands all over the place. Be sure to keep watching to the end to see just what a hungry T-Rex can do when you fail a button prompt.
