Karen Gillan stars in new trailer and poster for Oculus
You'll be scared of your own reflection...
Add mirrors to the list of things we don’t want to get stuck alone in a room with, thanks to the creepy new trailer for Oculus .
The new horror film stars Karen Gillan, Brenton Thwaites and Katee Sackhoff and tells the story of a mirror that seems to unleash a malevolent supernatural force.
That force was responsible for the deaths of Tim (Brenton) and Kaylie’s (Gillan) parents 10 years ago, and is now causing them to have nightmarish hallucinations.
If that wasn’t scary enough, add in the hushed whispers of a small child rhyming in a sing-song voice and you officially have us sleeping with a night light on for weeks.
As well as the trailer, the film's terrifying one-sheet has also been unleashed, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase 'skin-crawling'. Click below for a high-res version.
Oculus opens in the UK on 11 April 2014.
