KartRider is one of the most popular racing franchises. It is very popular in Asia, attracting over 300 million players during its 15-year run. As a franchise, KartRider has established a strong brand across Asian markets as well as a huge eSports presence in Korea where the official league started in 2004. It continues to be the longest running eSports league to date. Now the KartRider franchise is prepared to go fully global in 2020 with a brand new game: KartRider: Drift! This free-to-play title aims to bring both casual and competitive racers together in a never-before-seen online kart racing experience with continuous drops of new content.

KartRider: Drift is free-to-play (no paywalls!) and features mechanics that are easy to pick up and play. KartRider: Drift will be a superb racing game to play with your friends when you just want to relax and have a good time. The game also features cross-play between Xbox One and PC, so you can play with whoever you want — even people on a different platform!

There are a ton of different customization options to unlock as well, including karts, characters, skins, tracks, and more. Racers will have the opportunity to paint karts, create unique decal designs, upgrade license plates and update character emotes. Every player can have their own unique style and look amazing thanks to the Unreal Engine 4 graphics.

There are multiple modes of play in KartRider: Drift. If you’re more of a hardcore competitive player, you’ll love Speed Mode. While the racing mechanics are easy to learn, they are challenging to master. Doing so will reward you with incredible speed on the racetrack, so players who put in the time to hone their skills will see their efforts reflected on the leaderboard. The game also features quick and focused modes like Time Attack and Item Mode that challenge players to perform at their best. Item Mode features the fun and gratification of item pick-up, where gameplay is enhanced by items like speed boosts, magnets, UFOs, water bombs, and more that can impact the race.
