Everyone's favourite Oscar nearly-winner Kate Winslet has been shortlisted for two categories at the 2009 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards.
Winslet is up for Best Actress for the Leonardo DiCaprio-co-starring Revolutionary Road and Best Supporting Actress for The Reader.
Other SAG nom highlights include Heath Ledger (Supporting Actor, The Dark Knight), Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire (Best Ensemble - the SAGs equivalent of Best Picture) and Robert Downey Jr (Supporting Actor, Tropic Thunder).
After Golden Globe nods for the same movies, Winslet is rapidly gathering the kind of momentum last seen during Helen Mirren's clean sweep for The Queen in 2006/2007.
2009's SAGs - held on 25 January - are one of the key events in the build-up to February's Oscars.
totalfilm.com is a big fan of Winslet's (check out the interview in the latest issue of Total Film Magazine) and we really, really, really hope she has to buy a new sideboard to hold all her silverware come February.
Will Kate do a Marty Scorsese and finally pocket her Oscar this time?
