Keanu Reeves heads up Nicholas Winding Refns new movie The Neon Demon
Nicholas Winding Refn has unveiled the full cast for his forthcoming horror film The Neon Demon, with Keanu Reeves and Christina Hendricks heading up the ensemble.
Elle Fanning had previously been announced as the new film’s leading lady, with Collider reporting a whole clutch of new names that have now been added to the production.
As well as Reeves and Hendricks, Jena Malone, Bella Heathcote and Abbey Lee have all signed on for the film, with production set to begin at the end of March.
No character details have been confirmed for any of the cast, while the plot remains fairly vague. What we do know is that Fanning will play an aspiring model “caught in a world of beauty and demise”.
Beyond that there’s not much more we know, although Winding Refn has previously spoken of a desire to “make a horror film out of vicious beauty”. A release date has yet to be confirmed.
