Keanu Reeves stars in first trailer for Eli Roths Knock Knock
The first trailer has appeared online for Eli Roth’s new film Knock Knock, in which Keanu Reeves plays a wayward family man who allows himself a moment of weakness and soon finds himself paying for it… with interest.
With his family away for the weekend, Reeves is enjoying a quiet night in, when two bedraggled but gorgeous strangers turn up on his doorstep. One quick seduction later and Reeves isn’t exactly looking like husband of the year, but little does he know, things are about to get a whole lot worse…
Take a look at the new trailer, below…
Looks like suitably OTT stuff then, but it is nice to see a twist on the traditional “woman at home alone” set-up and have Reeves’ downfall brought about by his own weakness. We also particularly enjoyed his delivery of the line, “chocolate with sprinkles?”
Directed by Roth and co-starring Lorenza Izzo and Ana De Armas as Reeves’ tormentors, Knock Knock will open in the UK on 26 June 2015 with a US date yet to be confirmed.
