Killer is Dead is set for an August release in the UK and Japan, according to a newly released trailer for the game. However, the US version of the trailer still lists the title for a planned “summer” launch. The PS3 and Xbox 360 game is being published by Deep Silver in the UK, Xseed Games in the States and Kadokawa Games in Japan.
Grasshopper Manufacture boss Goichi Suda is serving as executive director of Killer is Dead, which sees players takes on the role of executioner Mondo Zappa. Wielding a Japanese sword in his right hand and interchangeable weapons in his artificial left arm, his goal is to take down various criminals scattered across the globe while leaving enough time to seduce a series of women, some of whom are featured in the latest trailer.
