Microsoft has delayed the release of Kinect Sport Rivals. Previously set to be an Xbox One launch title this November, Rare’s debut game for the console will now arrive in spring 2014. While it will be playable for the first time at PAX Prime and Gamescom in August, a Microsoft spokesperson told Polygon the delay will give Rare extra time to polish the game and release it without compromising its quality.
Kinect Sports Rivals will feature sporting activities including climbing, wake racing, soccer, target shooting, bowling and tennis. According to the product description on Microsoft's online store, which recently priced Xbox One games at £49.99 in the UK, "Kinect Sports Rivals captures your likeness as a champion and thrusts you into sporting events against friends, rivals, and the entire world."
Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox One will launch in 21 markets this November priced at £430 / $500. Its confirmed first-party software launch line-up now consists of Forza Motorsport 5 and third-party developed but Microsoft published games Ryse: Son of Rome and Dead Rising 3.
