Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning trailer tells you more than you ever wanted to know about Amalur
Fable meets Elder Scrolls meets Dragon Age meets...
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning looks absurdly ambitious. EA and 38 Studios are creating something massive, here, the scale of which seems on par with Fable and Mass Effect. But with this new IP comes a mess of new races, locations, characters, and factions to learn, and our brain is way too full to absorb all of this without a little help. Thankfully, the developers have put together a video explaining it all, and giving us a primer for what to expect when we first step foot in Amalur.
Our favorite part of the video? It's the end, when it says "To be continued...". That means there are more videos like these currently being made, getting us ready for this epic fantasy world. It's due to release for the Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3 in February, which is good news for Skyrim fans. By then, you'll likely have squeezed enough out of Bethesda's RPG to justify taking a break, and, lo and behold, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will be right there waiting for you. It's almost as if EA and 38 Studios did that on purpose...
