Kit Harington just confirmed he is in Game of Thrones season 6
Kit Harington is probably a little fed up with all of our Jon Snow questions. For months, the actor has been pretending that the fan-favourite character is dead - despite all the evidence proving otherwise - but his tune has finally changed.
Speaking with Time Out, Harington admitted that he did film scenes for the upcoming season of Game of Thrones, but only as a corpse: "Look, I’m not in the show any more. I’m definitely not in the new series. I filmed some scenes of me being dead – [jokily] it’s some of my best work. I know how long I’m a corpse for, but I can’t tell you that!"
So there you have it; Jon Snow will be back in Game of Thrones, although it looks like he'll still be dead. Whether or not he remains that way has been a hot topic of debate ever since the final moments of the season 5 finale, with the most popular theory pointing to resurrection by Melisandre.
Or, Snow could actually be staying dead. It's not like Harington would ever lie to us...
Game of Thrones season 6 premieres on HBO on April 24, 2016 in the US, and on Sky Atlantic a day later in the UK.
