Kit Harington talks Hollywood typecasting
Exclusive: "People in Hollywood see you a particular way"
In issue 218 of Total Film magazine , Ga me Of Thrones star Kit Harington talks getting typecast as a fantasy hunk .
Inside the issue - which is available for free when you start a 30 day trial period on your iPad - Harington says that Game Of Thrones was responsible for him landing the lead role in epic end-of-worlder Pompeii .
"It's typecasting, I'd be lying if I said it wasn't," he tells TF. " Game Of Thrones came along and people in Hollywood see you in the fantasy or period role.
"I never thought I'd be in movies. I wasn't one of those people who thought I'd come out [ of drama school ], rock the world and be hugely famous."
Pompeii opens in UK cinemas on 2 May 2014.
