L.A. Noire: See the ground-breaking technology behind the game
You've never seen game faces look so realistic
A few weeks ago we told you about theMotionScan systemthat's making Rockstar's detective 'em-up, L.A. Noire, look so amazing. Back then we really wanted to emphasisejust howrevolutionary thesystem isthat allowsthese incredibly detailed faces but it would've taken thousands of words or at least threeyears worth of trying to draw it with crayons. Thankfully, Rockstar have just released thisbehind the scenes trailer for your viewing pleasure.
So without further ado, let's take a look at how thenew benchmark in gaming visuals can be achieved...
Impressive, no? Of course it is. We predict a clambering for this technology from all and sundry.We're hopeful Rockstar will use it in GTAV, which, lets be honest, would be bloody brilliant.For now though, we're more than excited at the prospect of getting hands-on withL.A. Noire and hopefully we'll have more on it soon.
