Lando Calrissian is coming to Star Wars Battlefront in June

With Star Wars Battlefront's first expansion now out in the wild, fans of the shooter are wondering what's next for the galaxy far, far away. The answer is Bespin, which is both the home to the only scoundrel who could out-swagger Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, and the name of the next Battlefront expansion.

Speaking of Lando, he'll be making his debut in-game as a Hero character for the Rebel Alliance, which I would say just about makes up for that faction getting stuck with Nien Nunb in the previous expansion. Sure, Nunb played an important part in Star Wars lore, but I don't think many were chomping at the bit to play as the bug-eyed Sullustan.

Empire players, you'll find your new Hero to be a bit more obscure. Remember Dengar the bounty hunter? No? Well… sorry, but that's who you're getting; a guy with brown armor plating over a white onesie and a lopsided headwrap. Think of this as karma for all the times you made fun of Rebel players who got stuck with the aforementioned Nunb.

A new blog post from producer Craig McLeod also teases AT-ATs in Cloud City, battles in carbonite chambers, Hutt contracts, Star Cards, and "more options to enjoy Star Wars Battlefront offline." The Bespin expansion will be available standalone or as part of Battlefront's season pass in June.
