Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will wear hot pants on your iPhone

There is no secret that Apple’s family of wacky contraptions needs more women of the short-shorts persuasion. Lucky for us Square-Enix is sending one straight from consoles.

ABOVE: See that? Tank top and short shorts

Originally released near the end of the summer for XBLA and PSN, puzzle/ shooter Lara Croft and the Guardian of Lightwill be hitting the iPhone and iPod Touch for $6.99, and iPad for the low price of $9.99 starting, well, tomorrow at 12:01AM. The iPad version will be HD optimized for the machine, and special controls (of course) are integrated for all platforms.

Sadly, none of the recently- released DLC (including Kane and Lynch) will be available, but look at it this way: it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than dropping $14.99 for a PSN version, even though it’s not on a TV. We guess that you’ll get a good dose of tank tops and hot pants anyway. This being the third time it’s mentioned, the line was just crossed from “observant” to “creepy.”

Look for a review of the game tomorrow.
