Larry David will play Mother Mengele in Three Stooges
There’s nun so queer as folk
Larry David has been recruited to play a nun in The Farrelly Brothers’ new Three Stooges movie.
The former Seinfeld writer and star of Curb Your Enthusiasm has signed on to play Mother Mengele, the “unfortunate” nun who oversees the orphanage where the Stooges are raised.
That means you can probably expect David to appear in the first of the film’s three ‘episodes’, with the Farrelly’s forging their movie in three distinct sections.
Shooting on The Three Stooges kicks off this month, with Will Sasso as Curly, Sean Hayes as Larry, Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe and Jane Lynch as Mother Superior.
That cast looks a darn sight different to how it did a few years ago, when Benecio Del Toro, Sean Penn, and Jim Carrey were being lined up for the film.
Considering the wealth of comedy talent the Farrellys have assembled for their film, though, it’s now a case of Carrey who?
