The Last of Us appears on Jimmy Fallon, confirmed for 2013
Naughty Dog brings apocalyptic demo to late-night TV
Naughty Dog has confirmed that The Last of Us will absolutely, positively, pinky-swearingly be ready for retail in 2013. Studio developers Bruce Straley and Neil Druckman confirmed the release window last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon as part of the show's “Video Game Week” promotion.
The announcement was accompanied with The Last of Us's “Ambush” demo, previously seen running at E3 2012. See it for the third (fourth or fifth) time:
The Last of Us was first glimpsed during the 2011 Spike Video Game Awards, and has since been outed as a post-apocalyptic, action-adventure survival game starring Joel, a do-whatever-it-takes survivor; and Ellie, his 14-year-old ward.
