Remember Rockstar's Agent? Here's some leaked screens
Louise Blain is a journalist and broadcaster specialising in gaming, technology, and entertainment. She is the presenter of BBC Radio 3’s monthly Sound of Gaming show and has a weekly consumer tech slot on BBC Radio Scotland. She can also be found on BBC Radio 4, BBC Five Live, Netflix UK's YouTube Channel, and on The Evolution of Horror podcast. As well as her work on GamesRadar, Louise writes for NME, T3, and TechRadar. When she’s not working, you can probably find her watching horror movies or playing an Assassin’s Creed game and getting distracted by Photo Mode.
For those who perhaps don't remember Rockstar's Agent, here's a quick history lesson. Agent was announced as a PS3 exclusive 1970s set Cold War spy thriller all the way back in 2009 and since then it's never actually been officially canned despite never coming out. The game was being developed by Rockstar North and at one stage was going to be released in 2010 but never materialised.
Now we've got some leaked screens from the portfolio of environmental artist Darren Hatton who worked for Rockstar North between 2009-2010. You can check them out in the gallery above. All doesn't appear to be lost for the project as the trademark was renewed back in 2013 by Take Two. Add in the fact that Sony boss Shuhei Yoshida said he knew something but couldn't say anything back in 2013 and there might still be hope. If the Sony exclusivity still holds then that would be another serious coup for PlayStation but the ball is very much in Rockstar's court on this one.
The images below were leaked by concept artist Leigh Donoghue back in 2011. That's the last we'd seen but they definitely tie location wise into the gallery above's 'new' screens from Hatton.
