Yes! The Battlefield 3 beta is happening and everyone's invited. Paaaaartaaaay! Actually, hang on. Not everyone's invited. At least, not yet. If you pre-ordered a copy of the game via EA's digital distribution service, Origin, then you're invited right now. And if you purchased a copy of Medal of Honor Limited Edition then you're also invited right now. But if you failed to do either of these things, you are not invited right now. You will have to wait until tomorrow (Thursday 29 September) to be invited. Until then you will have to sit outside like a naughty dog that's done a dirty on the carpet. Perhaps next time you will think more carefully before dismissing EA's shameless marketing tricks.
