LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 grows up in latest official trailer
Latest LEGO retelling arrives on November 11
Only a cynical soul like He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named could resist the charms of the LEGO games. True, they're not for everyone in terms of gameplay, but come on, it's little toy people re-enacting scenes from famous movies. Adorable, right? No? See if this debut trailer for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 does anything to melt your cold, curmudgeonly heart.
Part two of Traveller's Tale's Harry Potter video game series will take players through the events of the final three books in J.K Rowling's seven-part adventure, leading up to a final wand-off with Lord Voldemort. It will mirror the overall feel and style of past LEGO games, but feature new mechanics like the ability to craft potions, utilize Weasley pranks, play with invisible LEGO and carve out useful objects from special walls.
“In LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, we are giving gamers a truly epic conclusion to the most successful movie franchise in history with delightful gameplay for fans of all ages,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games in an earlier press release.“We have built upon the first game and are giving fans even more magical abilities, puzzle solving and exploration, in addition to our distinctive brand of hilarious LEGO humour and charm.”
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is being developed for every modern console imaginable, and will be out in North America on November 11th, and in the UK November 18th.
