Lego Jurassic World Minikit and Amber Fossil Brick locations guide
Find every Minikit in Lego Jurassic Park with our guide
Park Shutdown - T-Rex Enclosure
There are five minikits to collect in this area, and you'll have to pop back in free play mode to find them.
Minikit #1 - Free Play Mode
Head over to the toilets on the right and switch to a character with the crowbar skill.
Once you open it up, you'll find Donald Gennaro inside along with a minikit.
Minikit #2 - Free Play Mode
Using Ellie, water the plant in the far right corner of the enclosure.
Climb to the top to reach the minikit.
Minikit #3 - Free Play Mode
To get the next minikit you need to shoot out the four red lights lining the enclosure. Switch to Muldoon and take out the two red lights on the fence, to the right of the jeep.
The third red light is next to the T-Rex.
The last red light is to the left of the T-Rex.
Minikit #4 - Free Play Mode
Switch to Ellie, scoot over to the left side of the enclosure and dive into the poop.
Assemble the parts she pulls out to find a minikit.
Minikit #5 - Free Play Mode
You need to find and build three goat skeletons for the next minikit. Start off by destroying the plant in front of the T-Rex.
Switch to a character with the tracking ability and follow the path to the bones.
Switch to Grant and put them together to make goat number one.
Still using Grant, return to the toilets and dig up the bones from the dirt pile.
Throw them together to make a second goat.
Switch to a character with the grapple skill and use it to pull down the crate from the tree on the left side of the area.
Switch to Grant and assemble them into the last goat skeleton for your minikit.
Park Shutdown - Rescue Timmy
There are four minikits in this part of the level and you even get to see some Lego vomit.
Minikit #1
Make your way around to the left of the tree to find yourself a porcine fellow in need of assistance.
Cut him free to get the minikit.
Minikit #2 - Free Play Mode
Head to the right of the area and have a character with the crowbar ability interact with the wall next to the water pipe.
You'll find the minikit in here.
Minikit #3 - Free Play Mode
Switch to a character with the illuminate ability and head into the cave in the tree.
You'll find the minikit in here.
Minikit #4 - Free Play Mode
As you scale the tree, you'll come to a platform with vines at the back that Grant needs to cut down for parts to make a bouncy pad.
Chopping them down will reveal a hatch, so switch to a character with small-access and squeeze through.
As you crawl out onto the other side, you'll pick up the minikit.
Park Shutdown - T-Rex Chase
This segment of the level is a fast paced T-Rex chase. To get the amber fossil, you need to get the last minikit out of the way sharpish so that you can take the wheel and drive into it, in a head-on collision.
Minikit #1
You'll automatically assume the role of Ellie at the beginning of the chase. The T-Rex will occasionally vent its frustration at not having caught and gobbled you up yet, by letting out a massive roar.
I'm sure you'll have noticed the targeting reticule by now. As soon as it opens its maw, lob a flare into it. Do this three times to get the minikit, then switch to the driver to get the amber fossil.
Amber Fossil Minikit (Dilophosaurus)
The amber fossil is on a raised platform to the left of the path.
Keep to the left during the chase and when the path diverges and you spot the log running down the middle, you'll know your exit is coming up.
The jeep steers about as well as a shopping trolley, so you may want to keep nudging it to the left, rather than holding it down and hoping it obeys you. There's a small log just before the path leading up to the fossil that will try to knock you over to the right, but as long as you know it's coming you should be just fine.
