Inside the issue - which is available for just £1.99 on your iPad , we get the lowdown from director Noam Murro, as well as chatting to kick-ass heroine and 300 stalwart, Lena Heady.
You can read the full interview with the Game Of Thrones star inside the issue, but for now, he’s a cheeky extract from what she had to say about 300: Rise Of An Empire …
“It’s huge!” she told us excitedly, revealing that she shot 10 days on the sequel in Bulgaria. “It’s different in that Zack [ Snyder ] didn’t direct it, so it’s a very different feeling.
“But the film, visually, follows on very much from the original. It’s something that’s so beloved for its physicality and visceral content. I had fun; I got to hold a sword.”
So Gorgo gets in on the action this time around, then. “Yeah! I love all that, I’m such a boy! They’re like, ‘Do you want to come to fight training?’ I’m like, ‘ Yes !’”
300: Rise Of An Empire opens in the UK on 7 March 2014.
