Leterrier talks Titans
Clears up 3D and score chatter...
There have been whispers about reshoots and 3D conversion regarding Clash of the Titans since pre-Christmas.
Now director Louis Leterrier has spoken. About the score and 3D, at least. First up, word had it that Matt Bellamy of rock outfit Muse would be supplying additional music on top of Craig Armstrong’s score.
Talking with MTV News, Leterrier had this to say:
“Craig [Armstrong], he was going to write the score and Matt Bellamy was going to come in and do… maybe 30 minutes of music.
"Craig Armstrong is still doing the score and I called my friend Neil Davidge from Massive Attack to replace Matt for the areas that Matt was doing. So it’ll be Craig Armstrong and Massive Attack, which is pretty exciting.”
On the 3D side of life, Leterrier confirms that they did give it a shot, but time restraints made it impossible.
“We tried [to do 3D for Clash]. We tried hard,” the filmmaker said. “We just won’t have time. Maybe we possibly can re-release it in 3D.”
