Let's see how part three of Alysia's Ring Fit Adventure journey is going
Alysia's discovering how custom workouts can help other areas of her life
We're back in Alysia's living room to find out what's next on her journey with Ring Fit Adventure, the Nintendo Switch exclusive game that aims to make working out convenient, flexible, and - most importantly - fun.
Now Alysia's had some time with Ring Fit Adventure, she's exploring what there is to find away from the story-driven campaign mode.
As an avid dancer, specifically Lindyhop, Alysia begins to experiment with custom workouts, building out a routine that will help her strengthen her legs and her core to help improve her foot-tapping stamina.
Ring Fit Adventure lets you build out a selection of custom workouts, giving you scope to tailor them to specific needs. Whether it's a specific area of the body you want to target, you want to build out a short-burst, high-intensity session, or something a little longer and more structured, that flexibility is there with custom workouts.
You pick which exercises you want to include in your custom workout, set the time, and intensity and then you're good to go. Of course, if you're running them back to back, you may want to think about which exercises you're doubling up on, just in case you get stuck with too many squats like Alysia!
With your in-game partner, Ring, encouraging you to perform each movement with control and without rushing, it helps really make the most of each one too.
While custom workouts are great for really focusing your exercise efforts, you can also sprinkle some of Ring Fit Adventure's unique brand of fitness fun into the mix with the Rhythm Games. Engage your core with the Ring Con and then get your body moving to the music to match your position with the notes as they hit. It's a great way to have some fun while working out.
For next time, Alysia will be diving back into the Ring Fit Adventure campaign to see what else is in store on our journey to beat Dragaux!
