Liev Schreiber does the Resurrection Mambo
He’s joining the sci-fi drama with Jude Law and Forest Whitaker
Given that the last time he took on a sci-fi flavoured movie it turned out as Sphere, you can imagine why legendary Microsoft Word spelling problem Liev Schreiber has stayed clear from the genre.
But now he’s jumping back in a big way, joining both Fox’s X-Men spin-off X-Men Origins: Wolverine and signing up to join Jude Law and Forest Whitaker in Repossession Mambo.
He’ll play Law’s boss at a credit union that provides people with artificial organs. Sadly, Law receives a new heart and can’t keep up his payments, ending up on the run with his wife, who is also behind on her organ cash.
Miguel Sapochnik’s making his movie directing debut with the movie, which Eric Garcia adapted from his novel with Garrett Lerner.
It’s shooting right now and should be hitting our screens in 2009.
