Check out Guardians of the Galaxy's new logo - plus full cast list coming soon
Once audiences got a load of Guardians of the Galaxy back in 2014 there was little doubt that we'd be seeing Star-Lord and co again in future Marvel films, and our second dosage is coming in 2017 with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
With the movie now officially in production, returning director James Gunn has taken to his Facebook page to share a picture of the new logo. Check it out below...

Not a lot is known about Vol. 2 right now, but Gunn also announced that the full cast list for the movie will be revealed next week which will hopefully mean we can at least lay some rumours to rest. Our money is on at least one of the new additions being Kurt Russell, who has been in talks to play Star-Lord's Father.
Now that the main characters have been established - and there's no Thanos or infinity stones tie-ins needed - Gunn can really take the franchise to some interesting places, and we will gladly follow.
Directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 arrives in UK cinemas on April 28, 2017 before opening in US theatres on May 5, 2017.
