Lords of the Fallen is a new RPG from Witcher 2 senior producer
Developer/publisher behind Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 says more to come at E3
Like your RPGs dark, sprawling, and filled with difficult choices? 2014 is going to be your year. Aside from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, City Interactive today announced Lords of the Fallen for PC and next-gen consoles. (You might know City Interactive as the developer/publisher behind Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2.)
The "demanding and strategic" third-person ARPG is led by Tomasz Gop, who worked at CD Projekt Red as senior producer on The Witcher 2. Its world is in even worse shape than The Witcher's: the divine have somehow failed mankind, and a remaining entity known as the Fallen God divides the world into those that support and those that resist its influence.
Main character Harkyn has plenty of fighting to do and decisions to make along the way.
“From the very beginning, Lords of the Fallen will intrigue and satisfy players’ hunger to explore each corner of a brand new world, freely customize and build their own character and take down some of the most epic enemies ever seen," Gop said in a release.
CI Games plans to demo Lords of the Fallen at E3 in June. Until then, all we have to go by is the rather apocalyptic concept art above.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
