Lost star to Stare At Goats
Alongside George Clooney and Ewan McGregor
After years in small film roles and the odd TV part (including a run on Lost), British actress Rebecca Mader has snagged her first female lead alongside George Clooney and Ewan McGregor in Men Who Stare At Goats.
Adapted from Jon Ronson’s book, the Iraq-set film focuses on desperate reporter Bob Wilton (McGregor) who finds the story of a lifetime in Lyn Cassady (Clooney), who claims to be a former psychic soldier reactivated in the wake of 9/11. According to The Hollywood Reporter , Mader will play McGregor’s wife.
Grant Heslov, Clooney’s producing partner, is making his directorial debut with the movie, which also stars Kevin Spacey and Stephen Lang.
Now all we need is for Edgar Wright to finally get around to making The Secret Rulers Of The World and Ronson’s domination of cinema will be complete.
