LucasArts "all over" a Wii lightsaber game

"It's a lot of fun, and we'll get there," says president Jim Ward

If there's one thing we ALL want to see on Wii, it's a Star Wars lightsaber game that takes full advantage of the Wii controls. The Wii Remote acting as a lightsaber, yes please!

Our dreams could be coming true. During the Hollywood & Games Summit in LA, LucasArts boss Jim Ward was asked about the possibilities of seeing a lightsaber game for the Wii.

Ward replied, "We're all over that, and internally we have already played a lightsaber game on the Wii. It's a lot of fun, and we'll get there."

Ward also added that a lot is already in place in terms of the game's concept and hinted that we may see something this autumn. Fingers crossed there may even be a little tease at the new E3 next month. We'll see...
