Madden 22 Prime Gaming is at an end, with August's Ultimate Legends Pack bringing the campaign to a close. Little surprise there, given that it's release month for Madden 23. Over the past year the promo has seen gamers awarded free stuff every month just for being an Amazon Prime member, such as rare Elite players and Ultimate Kickoff items. What other bonus items have we seen, and how does claiming them work? All is explained in GR’s Madden 22 Prime Gaming guide.
How do I claim my free Madden 22 Prime Gaming Pack?
1. First up, head to the Madden 22 Prime Gaming pack loot page. The process is simpler than in previous editions, when the same content was known as the Madden Twitch Prime pack. You should automatically be prompted to confirm that you wish to link your EA and Amazon accounts by way of a large box that reads: ’Enter the next level: Account Linking’. Click it and you’ll be prompted to sign into Amazon Prime.
2. If you’re aren’t prompted with the necessary box, click the dropdown menu in the top right hand corner, then 'Manage Twitch accounts', and you should be able to link your Prime account manually. Then head back to the Madden 22 Prime Gaming home page.
3. Scroll down to see four large panels, each representing a Prime Gaming Pack for Madden 22. The current one available (as of Saturday, August 6) is the Prime Ultimate Legends pack. Click on the main box for details of what’s inside: one 87+ rated Ultimate Legends player, and four 80+ rated Elite players. Then click the blue ‘Claim Now’ box to do what it says on the tin.
4. Open Madden 22 on your format of choice and you’ll immediately find the pack waiting for you.
Madden 22 Prime Gaming rewards
Prime Gaming Pack 1 transformed my squad, consisting of eight gold items and two elite ones – Bills safety Jordan Poyer and Colts running back Jonathan Taylor. More than half were immediately installed as starters. Below is exactly who I got:

Madden 22 Prime Gaming Pack 2 was better known as the Prime Ultimate Kickoff Pack. It contained two gold (or better) Ultimate Kickoff cards, two regular gold (or better) players, and two silver players. Here's what I unearthed:

- Kyle Trask (QB, 70) [Ultimate Kickoff item]
- Kingsley Keke (RE, 71)

Madden 22 Prime Gaming Pack 3 was the Most Feared Pack. This is what I scored from opening that one:
- Quintez Cephus (WR, 79)
- Landon Dickerson (LG, 75)
- Grant Delpit (FS, 72)
- Carlos Basham Jr (DT, 69)
- Dave Mills (QB, 64)
There was only one item in the fourth drop, the Madden 22 Prime Harvest Pack. But what a great card it is: 90-rated Deion Sanders. Even if you had no interest in using him at CB, you could cash the item in for 1650 Training. Very handy, either way.
Similarly, the Prime Zero Chill Pack contained a single item: 92-rated Calvin Johnson – but at free safety, rather than wide receiver. Like Sanders the item is untradeable, but you can at least exchange it for 3350 Training if you have no plans to deploy Megatron in your line-up.
The Madden 22 Prime Playoffs Pack again granted just a single card, in 94-rated Troy Polamalu. His item is phenomenal, with ratings of 92 speed, 93 pursuit and 93 awareness, but again if you feel well-stocked at the SS position you can turn it in for 4750 Training Points.
Continuing a well-established theme, February's Super Bowl Pack offered a solitary item. The card in question belongs to Arizona Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald. It's 94-rated overall, with 92 speed, 96 jumping, and 93 catching. Not interested? Then, like Polamalu swap it out for 4750 Training instead.
The one-player-per-pack theme continued with March's Prime Free Agency pack. It delivered a 96-rated version of Terron Armstead, the New Orleans Saints offensive tackle who switched to the Miami Dolphins this off-season. Again, if you've no interest in using him you can cash Armstead in for 9250 Training.
By the time April's Sugar Rush pack landed, EA was deep into the one-player-per-month routine. This time around the reward was 96-rated defensive end Chase Young. His most impressive ratings include 91 Speed, 92 Acceleration and 93 Pursuit.
Look surprised when we tell you that yet another solo player dropped in May's Prime NFL Draft Pack. While that name suggested a Gridiron newbie, inside was a tight end legend drafted way back in 1997: former Chiefs and Falcons favourite Tony Gonzalez. His 97 overall rating will see you good at the position right through to Madden 23. Alternatively, shop him for 13,000 Training.
Madden Prime Gaming Pack 11 dropped in June 2022, although it's better known as the Prime Ultimate Legends Pack. After a long break, it finally saw multiple cards being included, as opposed to a single player. Here's what sprang forth when I opened mine…

Is there a catch to the Madden 22 Prime Gaming Pack?
Only that, if you’re not a subscriber Prime is free for the first 30 days, but then goes up to £7.99 per month. So if you’re only signing up for a quick spin of the Prime roulette wheel then be sure to cancel well before that 30-day trial ends.
Do any other EA games offer Prime rewards?
