March PS Plus games include Oddworld and the flippin hardcore OlliOlli 2
We’ve waited longer than usual, but Sony has finally announced its PlayStation Plus lineup of free games for March. Oh, and they’re available to download right now.
Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty and the brand-spanking new, OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood top the bill in what’s a solid selection of gratis games across PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
But what if you’re not into ace otherworldly puzzlers or 8-bit skateboarding? Well, have a look at this full list games - you’re sure to find something to entice you in.
Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty (PS4)
Valiant Hearts (PS4)
Papo and Yo (PS3)
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments (PS3)
OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood (PS4/PS Vita)
CounterSpy (PS4/PS3/PS Vita)
We recommend taking a look at Valiant Hearts if you haven’t already. Ubisoft put a unique, heart-wrenching slant on war in games. It’s less shooty-bang-bang and more a measured puzzle game with an excellent love story attached. Check out our review to find out more.
As usual, the March update has replaced the games of February, so if you forgot to download them, you’re out of luck, buddy. Guess that’s one of the bonuses of Sony (usually) announcing these drops in advance of the update going live.
Obviously, you’ll need a PlayStation Plus membership to suck these games down your internet pipes, but the subscription pays for itself, especially with a lineup like this month. As long as you have an account, you get to keep all the games too. It’s a no-brainer, really.
