Mario and friends in the real world

6)Luigi strikes back

The Force is strong in this Galaxy parody movie poster. Something awful seems to have happened to the Princess – nobody will want to rescue her now.

7) Mario on Genesis/Mega Drive

It’s what Genesis/Mega Drive owners secretly wished for while they were wearing out the right side of their D-pads completing Sonic. NES Mario on Sega hardware. At the moment it only works on emulators, which rather defeats the purpose of it.

8)365 days of Domo

This photo project documents a year in the life of Domo-kun, mascot of the Japanese NHK TV channel. Turns out he spent a fair bit of time playing Wii games…

9)Fire flower cushion

It’s really straining to set your sofa alight, but we suspect it doesn’t have the firepower. This could be just the start of an entire room decked out in Mario-themed furniture. One piece at a time.

10)Mario bot

Eek! What happened to his face? Presumably this is why this figurine is billed as a robot rather than the real thing. Unless he really does come to life, like Chibi-Robo wearing a skin suit.
