Mario Kart 7 Turbo Boosts
In any race
Start of the race:
To recieve a short turbo boost at the start of a race, press the accelerate button immediately after the number 2 disappears on the countdown.
On a ramp:
Press the jump button at the edge of a ramp to recieve a short turbo boost. If done correctly, your character will perform a trick.
Lakitu retrieval:
When you fall off a track or get stuck, Lakitu picks you up and drops you back on the track. Press the acceleration button at the same time your wheels hit the track and you will recieve a short turbo boost.

Bruiser (Body) - 900 Coins

Egg 1 (Body) - 3,000 Coins
Flower Glider (Glider) - 1,200 Coins
Golden Wheels - Beat every cup on 50cc, 100cc, 150cc and Mirror Mode and receive a minimum of 1 star ranking for each cup to unlock.

Paraglider (Glider) - 2,500 Coins
Peach Parasol (Glider) - 800 Coins

Red Monster (Wheels) - 50 Coins
