Marvels Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show picked up by ABC in the US
Plus: first look image, and news on a trailer
Marvel’s hotly-anticipated TV show Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been picked up in the US by the ABC network, who have ordered a full series.
And for those desperate for a glimpse of the show (overseen by Avengers Assemble director and all-round TV deity Joss Whedon), will be able to see a teaser during the season finale of Once Upon A Time on Sunday 12 May 2013 on ABC (and we expect it’ll go online shortly after that).
There’s no word on an episode count or an air date, but we have to presume that the Whedon-directed pilot impressed execs.
An official logo and a group shot of the titular team have also been released, with the agents headed up by mysterious returnee Coulson (Clark Gregg), who was last seen being killed in The Avengers .
