Mass Effect: Space monkeys and other galactic curiosities
Simians, pyramids, giant worms, Earth and more all caught on camera
Pretty moons and suns and stuff
OK, so the planets not visited as part of Mass Effect's main storyline may not exactly be teeming with life, but, handily, they do capture the emptiness and harsh conditions of outer space perfectly. Yet while these barren landscapes are largely void of life, many of them are quite beautiful. Large looming suns, twin moons, dramatic vistas, smouldering lakes, debris falling like stamepding shooting stars... And no matter how many times we drive the Mako over a crest and are met by a blazing light from a planet's sun, we just don't get bored of it. We're suckers for this sci-fi stuff.
