Mass Effect video
[360] Finally, you get to see the presentation that stunned us at E3
We're not shy about proclaiming Mass Effect as one of the most promising games to come out of E3. Busy as they were at the show, some of our staff members went back and sat through the demo presentation twice to drink it all in. Now you can check it out yourself, as Bioware has made a narrated version of the same demo available. We've popped it into our burgeoning video collection - click on the movies tab above and check it out.
Again, since it's narrated, we don't need to tell you what to look for, but we were certainly floored by the facial animations and natural conversations in the first half of the flick. The real-time combat that rounds out the presentation just makes us want Mass Effect even more; unfortunately, that makes waiting until the middle of 2007 for its release even harder to bear.
