Classes
The 50 weapons listed above are strewn out amongst six multiplayer classes. Some of the weapons, especially side-weapons like grenades and melee, are seen in several of the classes, but many of the primary and secondary weapons are class-based, and should be taken into consideration before picking which class to jump into pre-game. Below you can find each class detailed with their class specialty, weapons, progressions, and in-game tips when using each class.
** It should be noted that each class’ primary and secondary weapons will have a number of attachments (i.e. red dot sights) that will be unlocked as you rank up higher in multiplayer.

Perhaps Warfighter’s most notorious class, the assaulter acts as your seemingly “default” to-go class. Assaulters’ loadout can feature a variety of weapons within the assault and battle rifle weapons group. Constantly on the battlefront, assaulters’ class specialty aims in on the grenade launcher, which can be customized itself, but we’ll get to that.
When selecting this class, you’ll have four options for primary weapons within two weapon groups, as we alluded to, which includes the DD M4V1, HK 416, HK G3, and the EBR. Though the M4V1 is the primary used weapon, its recoil can actually harm your accuracy and success on the battlefield, especially as fast paced as online is, so we opt that you go with the 416 as it acts much like the DD, except with much less recoil. Precision Assault players will most likely wish to go with the EBR as it offers range and a fire rate that can counteract sniper rifles. Those using the EBR, though, should be aware of their tactics, because every map in Warfighter is crafted for constant, up close and personal gameplay. In essence, know your accuracy and precision and select a primary weapon from there.
The grenade launcher-class specialty can be extremely useful in a number of Warfighter’s game modes – fending off foes at a flag point or attacking a sector that’s being controlled by a number of foes. No matter the situation, you’ll want to be aware of the option players have for their specialty. Players can choose to either equipping the launcher separately, or attach the weapon to the under barrel of your primary weapon. Doing the latter, though, will lower your mobility when carrying your primary. If you’re a run and gun styled gamer, we suggest not equipping the launcher to your weapon, but if your more tactics based, it may certainly be of use to you, especially when you can cut time in having to select the specialty.
