Medal of Honor: Warfighter release date and more revealed in first video
EA's next big shooter dropping October with free Special Edition
EA's released an announce trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and there's some new details hidden amid the impressively Frostbitten action clips. Besides packing several minutes' worth of game footage into a tight, Pause-rewarding 90 seconds, the clip sets a release date well in advance and provides some incentive to order the game before that time.
October 23's the date EA has set for Warfighter's release – and just like its 2012 predecessor, preorders of the sequel will get a free upgrade to the game's Limited Edition. What that comprises exactly hasn't yet been revealed. Medal of Honor's early customers got early access to in-game shotguns and an exclusive free submachine gun, so there's a good baseline. However, EA's spent the past couple years working hard at new ways of managing bonus content – think crossover items, or the game-by-game approach to Online Pass material – so the Limited Edition of its signature shooter could be one to keep an eye on...
