Medium Has Been Cancelled, Says Arquette
None
TV network CBS hasn’t made it official but Medium ’s star breaks the news
“We got canceled” the actress told the magazine last weekend while attending a gala at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. “I was trying to get information from the writers about the last episode. I don’t know what it’s going to be, but they’re really excited about it. They’re like, ‘We’re just going to burn the whole thing down!’ I’m really excited.”
At least the writers have been given the chance to finish off the series in style. Then again, the finales of the last two seasons of Medium could easily have served as “last ever episodes” as well… it was ironic that a show about the dead seem to survive so many near death experiences itself, and the production team were clearly as surprised as anyone else when the show kept being recommissioned. Medium even moved to CBS after NBC initially cancelled it two years ago.
It’s had a good run, it’s been fun, and we’ll miss, but to be honest… it’s better to turn off the life support now, rather than watch it slowly whither away further.
