Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel
When Solid Snake's involved, even a comic book becomes gripping and stylish
Then, when you access the database, you can learn a ton of info about each and every important element of the game's story - including a lot that has never been made public before. In fact, much of the detail isstuff you could never discover, even by playing the original MGS as carefully as possible.
Once you get several pieces of intel stored up, you can see how they relate. Everything's stored in a 3D matrix; the closer two items are, the more they have to do with one another. Once you read these linked items, new information might come out of it... which leads to even more things to read. Finding them all will be a rewarding challenge for the die-hard Metal Gear Solid fan. There are 300 categories, in fact.
From what we've seen so far, the striking visuals and mass of information make this a no-brainer for Metal Gear obsessives. And for anyone looking for something a little less gameplay-intensive to do with their PSP, this also makes a lot of sense. Still, it's very much not a game. That's Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops' job.
