Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD gets gameplay trailer
Demo player skips Codec dialogue, sets low bar for success in PSP remake
Konami has released the E3 gameplay video for the HD version of its PSP title, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, which will be included as part of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection due out in November. Click through for a demo of the game played by someone who could clearly benefit from replaying the title's tutorial section.
Know what's cute about this clip? It's two and a half minutes long, and the first minute is spent on the Codec screen. Hell, even the demo player gives up and skips much of the (no doubt intricately politically nuanced) chitchat, so as to get to the sneakin' and shootin'.
Not on show here is the title's debut of the “Transfarring” feature, which will allow PS3 players to transfer their save games between systems. Of all the PSP titles to remake in HD, this has been one on top of many players' wish lists, but what do you think after catching this first glimpse of the up-rezzed Peace Walker?
