Michael Bay reveals first look at upgraded Optimus Prime for Transformers 4
Plus, two more new vehicles revealed
Michael Bay has unveiled three new-look Transformer vehicles on his official website, including a brand new look for Optimus Prime.
The Autobot leader is now a truck from Daimler offshoot Western Star, and looks pretty swish, although not nearly as sleek as the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse and the C7 Corvette Stingray, both of which will be appearing in the new movie.
Plot details remain suitably scant at this stage, although Bay recently revealed that the movie will contain a “chase from hell”. Hopefully the three new vehicles will be heavily involved in that one…
Meanwhile, US comedian TJ Miller is in negotiations to join the cast according to The Hollywood Reporter , with the comic set to play a mechanic buddy of Mark Wahlberg’s character.
Directed by Bay and co-starring Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz and Stanley Tucci, Transformers 4 will open in the UK on 27 June 2014.
In the meantime, you can check out the new vehicles, below…
