After four weeks at the top, FIFA Street has finally succumbed to the combined might of Midnight Club 3 - which moves up to number one - and Lego Star Wars, which debuts at two. It's a close-run competition though, with MC3 only clear by 483 sales.

Microsoft's Jade Empire makes it into the top 10, entering at seven, despite being an Xbox-only title. The only other top 20 new entry comes from Take 2 and their siege-warfare RTS for PC, Stronghold 2, which settles at 17.

There are big chart slips for time-bending FPS TimeSplitters Future Perfect, down nine to 19, while Metal Gear Solid 3 drops from 18 to 28.

Elsewhere, Unreal Championship 2 The Liandri Conflict is placed at 25, making it the final new entry to hit the top 40. Championship Manager 5 drops to 29 but, with the release of the PS2 and Xbox versions this week, it may well see a rise in next week's chart.

The biggest game due for release in the week ahead is Star Fox Assault for Gamecube but, with a fair number of disappointing reviews for the sequel, a high chart position may evade the foxy fighter.
