Mila Kunis could star in Seth McFarlanes Ted
Keeping it in the family
Family Guy and Black Swan star Mila Kunis could be joining the cast of Seth McFarlane’s feature directorial debut Ted .
Kunis has worked with Family Guy creator McFarlane on all nine seasons of the hit cartoon, voicing poor put-upon daughter Meg. And considering the young actress’ rising movie profile, it would make sense for McFarlane to want her for his first film gig.
Ted follows the story of a boy who wishes that his teddy bear would come to life. Fast forward twenty-something years, and the boy’s now a man, and still putting up with the grumpy toy.
McFarlane will provide the voice of Ted himself, while Mark Wahlberg has been linked to the lead part. Kunis, meanwhile, would play his girlfriend, while Step Brothers ’ Adam Scott is being lined up as her boss.
Which all sounds pretty promising for McFarlane’s film, which will no doubt feature as much humour and glorious randomness as Family Guy.
