Miles Teller confirms Fantastic Four talks
He's up for the part of Reed Richards
Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot might just be about to make some casting announcements, with young actor Miles Teller confirming that he has had talks over the role of Reed Richards.
Teller has previously been linked to Richards, otherwise known as Mr. Fantastic, and confirmed said connection when quizzed by Fandango recently.
"If that happens, if everything works out, then I will be pretty pumped," says Teller. "But then I’ll also be working for… it’s like seven months out of your year. Which is not a bad problem!"
With Michael B. Jordan and Saoirse Ronan having also been linked to the parts of Johnny and Sue Storm respectively, it seems as though Trank is looking to recreate the kind of fresh-faced ensemble that served him so well in Chronicle …
No casting has been confirmed as yet, but expect that to change in the coming months, before production gets underway next year. The Fantastic Four will open in the US on 6 March 2015, with a UK date to be confirmed.
