Mimi Rogers joins Ash vs. Evil Dead
Ash vs. Evil Dead has added a TV veteran to its ensemble in the form of Mimi Rogers, with the Mad Men star officially signing on to join the forthcoming Starz show.
Rogers will play a character named Suzy Maxwell, a woman who finds herself reunited with her family and a group of uninvited guests after she is involved in a freak accident. Probably the fault of Ash, if past history is anything to go by…
Rogers joins fellow franchise newcomer Lucy Lawless, who will play Ruby, a mysterious woman who believes Ash to be at fault for the sudden uprising of the Deadites. Ray Santiago is also on board as an idealistic immigrant who soon becomes Ash's trusted sidekick.
Bruce Campbell will of course return in the title role, with the ten-episode series currently shooting in New Zealand. An official air date has yet to be confirmed.
