MMO Sword of the New World enters open beta

PC fantasy MMO Sword of the New World: Granado Espada has entered open beta phase, opening the game up to the public and his dog.

However, you still need to register to take part, and the open beta will only run till early July so you'll need to get your fantasy skates on.

"In the beta, players will have access to four worlds while experiencing the game's extensive costume selection feature and unique multi-character control system, while testing out the deep and compelling character classes," K2 Network, which has brought the Korean MMO west, has explained.

Sword of the New World'sfictional story is modeled on Europe's venture to and exploration of the New World, and the game brings something a little unusual to the MMO genre via the ability to control three characters simultaneously.

If the beta leaves you salivating for more, be sure to check out our hands-on preview of the gamehere.
